Terms of service

The agreement between you and us. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual wall, because a contract nobody reads protects nobody.

Last updated 9 September 2026

This agreement

These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], which operates GetSolvr. Where we say "we" or "us" we mean that company. Where we say "you" we mean the person or organisation holding the account.

By creating an account or sending a request to the API you accept these terms, the acceptable use policy, and the privacy policy. The acceptable use policy is the one that decides whether your account stays open, so please read that one properly even if you skim this.

If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming that you are allowed to bind it.

Your account

You need an account to use the API. You can create one with an email address and a password, or through Google or Discord. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us must be accurate.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done with your API keys. If you think someone else has your credentials, revoke the key from the dashboard immediately. Revocation takes effect on the next request.

One account per person or organisation. Creating additional accounts to get around a suspension, a rate limit, or a promotional offer is a breach of these terms.

API keys

We store your API key as a SHA-256 hash and nothing else. It is shown to you in full exactly once, at the moment it is created, and after that even we cannot recover it. That is deliberate: a key we cannot read is a key that cannot leak from our side. If you lose it, create a new one and revoke the old.

Keys are yours to use inside your own organisation. Sharing them outside it, or reselling access, needs a written agreement with us first.

Credit and billing

GetSolvr is prepaid. You add credit, and each delivered solve draws down from it. There is no subscription, no monthly minimum, no seat count, and nothing to cancel.

  • You are billed on delivery, and only on delivery. A solve that fails never touches your balance. It is not billed and then refunded, it is never billed. The counters are separate.
  • Credit does not expire. If you stop using the service, your balance is still there when you come back.
  • Prices are per solve and published. Current rates are on the pricing page. We can change them, but not retroactively, and we will give you notice by email before a change takes effect.
  • Top-ups run from $5 to $10,000, by card through Stripe or by cryptocurrency through Cryptomus. We never see or store your card details.

Your balance is held in micro-dollars internally, so a fraction of a cent per solve is metered exactly rather than rounded in anyone's favour. Every movement is written to a ledger you can read in the dashboard.

Concurrency limits are set by how much you have spent in a rolling window, and the current thresholds are published on the pricing page. We may adjust an individual account's limit up or down where the traffic pattern needs it, and we will tell you when we do.

Refunds and chargebacks

Because failed solves are never billed, there is usually nothing to refund. Where something has genuinely gone wrong on our side and you have been charged for work we did not deliver, tell us and we will correct the balance.

Unused credit is refundable on request within 12 months of the top-up that created it, less any payment processing fees we cannot recover. Credit that came from a promotional bonus rather than from money you paid is not refundable.

If you raise a chargeback rather than contacting us, we will suspend the account while it is resolved. We would much rather you emailed us first, and in practice that is faster for both of us.

What we provide

We provide access to the API described in the API reference. We work hard to keep it fast and available, and we publish how it behaves under load rather than hiding it.

We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. We would rather say that plainly than print a number we have not committed to backing. If you need one, contact us and we will talk about it.

Anti-bot vendors change their systems continuously. Our success rate against any particular target can move without warning, and a target that works today may not work next week. This is the nature of the product rather than a defect in it, and it is why you are only ever billed for what actually worked.

Solve results are held for 72 hours and then stripped, because the tokens are short-lived and single-use and keeping them longer would be a liability with no benefit to you. The record of the solve itself is kept for 180 days.

What is yours

You keep everything you send us and everything we return. We claim no ownership of your targets, your data, or the tokens produced for you. We do not use the content of your requests to build anything, and we do not sell or share it.

We own the service itself: the API, the dashboard, the documentation, and the brand. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.

Vendor names such as Kasada and DataDome are used to identify the systems our API answers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of them.

Suspension and closure

You can close your account whenever you like, from the dashboard or by emailing us, and request the unused balance back under the refund terms above.

We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the acceptable use policy, that is not paying, or that we are required to act on by law. Except where the breach is serious or we are legally prevented, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

On closure we refund the unused balance, other than in the fraud case set out in the acceptable use policy. Your solve history is deleted on the normal retention schedule rather than immediately, because parts of it are records we are required to keep for accounting.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business. Our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

You are responsible for how you use the service, and you agree to cover us against claims arising from your use of it in breach of these terms or the acceptable use policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For minor corrections we will change the page and move the date at the top. For anything that materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date is how you accept it. If you would rather not, close the account and take your balance back.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law where you live.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Questions about any of this go to [email protected].
